Do I Always Need to Assign a Team Member to Sessions?

On the admin clients have multiple kinds of sessions they can register for. Clients can register for classes, events, one-on-ones, and series. Out of all of these options, only events can be created on the calendar without a designated Team Member assigned to the session.
