How do I Merge Duplicate Accounts?

  1. From your dashboard, click the menu icon in the top left corner of your screen, next to the fitDEGREE logo
  2. Within the menu tab that appears on screen, select “Clients” and a new window labeled “Clients” will appear on screen
  3. After entering this window, find/search the client you wish to merge accounts for. Once you have found this client click on their name and enter their client profile
  4. Once in the profile for this client, click the “About Me” text under their profile picture and you will enter the tab of personal information for your client
  5. From here, click the bottom text reading “Merge Accounts.” By doing this, our system will search for accounts with the same name and populate them in a new tab on screen.

Things to note:
  • Look to see which account was logged into most recently. You want to make this the "primary" account and merge the duplicate account into this one.
  • You can find with information in the About Me section of the client profile at the top on the screen.
  • You can also search for Duplicate accounts using the to duplicate client report. (Reports > Clients > Duplicate Clients.)  This report will automatically match client profiles using the same email address. You can merge these accounts together from this tool, and is useful after importing data from another platform.
