How do I Make a Class Online and in Person?

To make a class online and in person there are a few steps you need to take and things you need to consider.

Things to Consider:

Classes cannot occur in the same location
Classes cannot have the same instructor

As a result of this, you need to take some preliminary steps prior to creating an in person and online session at the same time. First, you need to make sure they occur in two separate locations. For the in person class, you can keep your usual location. For the online session you may want to create a location called "online" or "virtual" for these sessions. Keep in mind, a location or instructor can never be double booked. So, if you have multiple online or in studio sessions at the same time, you need unique locations for each one.

Once you establish your location, you need to make a new team member. Why? Because team members cannot be double booked. As a result you want to create a new profile. You may choose to call this person "Megan Online" or "Virtual Megan" to indicate that they are your online version of the instructor. When you create this team member, you are able to add the same email and phone number as the other profiles. You can also have the same profile picture and bio as well. The main difference will be in the name.

Things to Note:

Once you create this team member the person does not need to log into this account. Each instructor only needs access to one team member account to run attendance for any class session or to gain access to the live stream links via admin.
