The fitDEGREE Kiosk application is a simple addition to your app arsenal in order to prepare your business for success. As a result, it is essential to understand your kiosk so that your business can thrive. This tool allows your members to check themselves into a class when they arrive at your studio.
When Will A Class, Event, or Series Populate on the App?
Your kiosk application is set to display classes in a timeframe of two hours. For example, if it is 10am, you will be able to see any class moving forward for a two hour window; any classes at a later time of day will be displayed as more time passes by.
Can I Edit my Kiosk Display?
The display on the kiosk is standard to show the client's first name and the first 3 letters of their last name. This helps them identify themselves on the roster, but protect the information of other clients.
Can I Create a New Client Profile for a Walk in on the Kiosk?
You cannot create a new client profile for a walk in new customer. A new client profile would need to be created on the OTG app or the Admin portal.
Can Clients Pay Via Kiosk?
If a client is checking into a class and did not indicate a payment method when registering, a new tab will appear on screen prompting them to choose one of their class packages or memberships. If the client has no applicable packages or memberships then the app will inform the client as they check in that they need to see the front desk to settle payment for their session.
* Additionally, the kiosk application will allow walk-in clients to select payment methods which are pre-existing on their account to register for classes. These payment methods are not applicable for events or series sessions.
