Bringing the text in the image above to light ... let's chat about how the waitlist works. The detailed screen for waitlists reads:
"We designed the waitlist system to maximize the amount of students in your class.
When a spot opens up, clients on the waitlist are given an amount of time to respond and say if they're attending or not.
The amount of time they are given depends on how long until the class begins:
48 hours before class = 12 hours to respond
47 to 13 hours before class = 4 hours to respond
< 13 hours before class = 5 mins to respond
Once a client's time ends, the next client on the list will be given a chance to take the spot. A client can register anytime after their time begins, even if the next person in line is given time as long as there's an open spot.
If all waitlist client's time runs out and there's still an open spot, the class is opened up to the public as an available spot.
Clients will receive a push notification to their phone alerting them when they can reserve a spot."
