What Are Profile Requirements?

Profile requirements allow studios to control what information clients are prompted to provide when creating or using their account.

This ensures studios collect only the data they need while staying compliant with Apple and Google Play privacy guidelines.


Who can manage profile requirements

Only Company Admin logins can access and edit profile requirements.

Staff and studio-level admins do not have access to this section.


How to get there

  1. Go to Menu

  2. Select Company

  3. Click App Settings

  4. Open Profile Requirements


Required vs requested fields

Each profile field can be set as either Required or Requested.


Required fields

  • Clients must provide this information to continue.

  • They cannot skip the prompt.

  • These fields are enforced by the system.

Requested fields

  • Clients are asked for the information but can skip it.

  • If skipped, they will not be prompted again as long as they check the box to skip future prompts.

  • No restrictions are applied if the client chooses not to provide it.

All options are designed to comply with Apple and Google Play data collection rules.


Types of information you can collect

Studios can configure:

  • Verified phone number

  • Pronouns

  • Birth date (with optional minimum age requirement)

  • Home address

  • Custom image uploads (such as ID uploads)

Each field allows you to include a description explaining why the information is being requested.


Image-based profile requirements

Studios can also request or require image uploads.


For each image field you can:

  • Set a custom title

  • Add a description for the client

  • Mark it as required or optional

If marked as required, the client must upload the image before continuing.


Where the information is stored

All collected profile data is stored in the client’s profile.


Path:
Clients → Select Client → Details → See About Me


This includes:

  • Contact details

  • Pronouns

  • Profile fields

  • Uploaded images

  • Verification status


Things to note

  • Pre-existing clients are prompted for missing required information the next time they register for a class or make a purchase.

  • Requested fields only prompt once and will not reappear if skipped.

  • Required fields block access until completed.

  • Profile requirements apply across all studios under the same company.
