Adding Tag-Based Restrictions to Events and Series Sessions

Modified on Wed, 29 Oct at 9:52 AM

Use Tag-Based Restrictions to limit who can register for a specific event or series session as you add it to the calendar—perfect for members-only workshops, invite-only pop-ups, or advanced series.

Add Tag-Based Restrictions (Events & Series)

  1. Go to your Live Schedule.

  2. Click Add to Calendar.

  3. Choose Event or Series and complete Page 1 details.

  4. On Page 2, scroll to the very bottom to Tag-Based Restrictions.

    • Only allow clients with at least one of these tags to register (leave blank to allow all clients)

    • Click Add Tag and select the tags that should have access.

  5. Publish

How Access Works

  • Leave blank → open to all clients.

  • Add one or more tags → only clients with at least one of those tags can register.

  • The restriction applies immediately for that event/series instance.

Important Notes

  • Restrictions are per instance (each event/each series you add).

  • Include all tags that should have access (e.g., if Level 5 clients may attend a Level 1 workshop, add tags Level 1–Level 5).

  • Applies across app, widgets, and admin.

Example

Members-Only Event: Add the Active Member tag (and any other qualifying tags). Only clients with those tags will be able to register.
