Adding Tag-Based Restrictions to One-on-One Services

Modified on Wed, 29 Oct at 9:48 AM

Tag-Based Restrictions can also be applied to your One-on-One Services to control which clients can book sessions based on their assigned tags. This ensures your private sessions are only accessible to the correct audience — such as members, specialized clients, or specific program participants.

Where to Add Tag-Based Restrictions

Tag-Based Restrictions for One-on-One Services are located within the service setup.

You can configure them while creating a new service or by editing an existing one.

To add or edit Tag-Based Restrictions:

  1. Navigate to Menu → Setup → Schedule Items → One-on-One Services.

  2. Select the service you’d like to update.

  3. Click Edit Service.

  4. On Page 2 of the service setup, scroll to the very bottom.

  5. You’ll see the Tag-Based Restriction prompt:

Only allow clients with at least one of these tags to register (leave blank to allow all clients)
⊕ Add Tag

How to Configure Access

  • Leave blank – The One-on-One service is open to all clients.

  • Add one or more tags – The service becomes restricted to clients with at least one of those tags.

Once a tag is added, the restriction takes effect immediately, preventing non-tagged clients from booking that One-on-One moving forward.

Important Notes

  • If you do not add any tags, the service remains visible and bookable by all clients.

  • Once a tag is added, only those clients with the listed tag(s) can view and book the service.

  • Always include all relevant tags that should have access to avoid unintentionally restricting clients.

Example

If your studio offers specialized sessions like Athlete Recovery, you can tag eligible clients accordingly.

For instance, if both “Athlete” and “Instructor” clients should have access to the same service, add both tags in the Tag-Based Restriction field to include both groups.
