What kinds of Memberships can I select a start date for?

In terms of memberships there are two kinds, fixed length and continual. For the purposes of creating a membership with a set start date, this option is only available for continual memberships. As a result of the recurring structure, we have allowed the freedom for you to schedule a start date for payment during the check-out process in your point-of-sale screen.

This feature will be visible after selecting your membership, indicating for recurring payments, and clients signing any necessary waivers. Following these steps, you will be prompted to select between the options of starting payment “immediately” or “select start date.” If you choose “select start date” you will be provided with a new section within the tab to set the desired future date or back date a membership to begin. Once you hit “save and continue” you will be brought back to the point-of-sale screen to finish out the transaction. Use this method if you wish to have specific dates of the month for memberships to bill on. (Example the 1st or 15th of the month.)
