When Choosing the Opening and Closing Time for Registration, is That by Calendar day?

While admin profiles are creating their sessions, either in setup or in their live schedule, they are asked to create opening and closing times for registrations. These registration times are anywhere from minutes, to hours, to days. In the case of the days, those are not referring to calendar days but hours of time in increments of 24 hours.
