What to Do If a Client Can’t Log In

Whether your studio is new to fitDEGREE or you've been using the platform for a while, clients may occasionally have trouble accessing their accounts. This could be due to forgetting a password or never having logged in before. Below are the steps to help clients regain access.

If the Client Has Never Logged In Before

Scenario 1: Account Created Before Studio Launch

If a client’s account was created before your studio launched on fitDEGREE, they have two options to log in:

  1. Use the "Create an Account" Option in the App

    • Have the client open the app and tap "Create an Account".
    • As they go through the setup, fitDEGREE will detect their existing account and prompt them to merge their new login with the original account in your fitSpot.
  2. Resend the Welcome Email

    • Go to the client’s profile in the admin.
    • If the button under their profile picture says "Welcome Email", this means they have never logged in before.
    • Click "Welcome Email", select their email, and send it.
    • The email will contain a "Create Your Login" button, allowing them to set up their account.

Scenario 2: Account Created from the Admin Page

If an admin created the client’s account:

  1. The client should have automatically received a "Login Credentials" email with a "Create Your Login" button.
  2. If they didn’t receive the email, they can still:
    • Open the app and click "Create an Account".
    • Enter their details, and fitDEGREE will prompt them to merge their new login with their existing profile.

If the Client Forgot Their Password

  1. On the login screen of the fitDEGREE app, tap "Forgot Password?".
  2. Enter the email address associated with their account.
  3. They will receive a password reset email, valid for 1 hour.
  4. Follow the instructions in the email to reset their password and log in.

Note: If a client forgets their username, remind them that they can log in using their email address and password instead.
