How to Add a Client

Step-by-Step (From the Client Search Bar)

  1. From any screen in your fitDEGREE admin account, locate the Client Search Bar at the top of your screen (next to the calendar icon).
  2. Click inside the search bar to open the client list dropdown.
  3. At the bottom of the list, click the "+" button labeled "Create New Client".
  4. A "Create Client" form will open. Fill out all applicable details.
  5. Click "Create" to finalize the client profile.

Step-by-Step (From the Clients Window)

  1. Click the Menu icon (top left corner).
  2. Select Clients to open the Clients Window.
  3. Click the "+" (New Client) button at the top of the screen.
  4. A "Create Client" form will open. Fill out all applicable details.
  5. Click "Create" to finalize the client profile.

Things to Note:

  • Required Fields for Client Creation:

    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email Address
  • Email Address Restrictions:

    • Each client must have a unique email address.
    • You cannot use the same email for multiple clients.
    • If necessary, use the “+ trick” to create variations of an email (e.g., [email protected], [email protected]).
    • This trick works with Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud, ProtonMail, and other providers that support plus addressing.
  • What Happens After Creating a Client?

    • The client does not automatically have a mobile app profile.
    • They will receive a Login Credential Email with a "Create Your Login" button.
    • This button allows them to set a password and complete their profile setup.
