Clients can store their credit card or bank information in the fitDEGREE mobile app for faster checkout and automatic payments. Payment methods are managed from the Profile section of the app.
Where to manage payment methods
Payment methods are now located in the Profile tab.
To get there:
Open the fitDEGREE app.
Tap the Profile icon in the bottom right corner.
Select Payment Methods.
Adding a payment method
Go to Profile → Payment Methods.
Tap Add New.
Follow the prompts to enter your card or bank details.
Save your payment method.
Your saved method will now be available for future purchases.
Managing saved payment methods
All saved cards and bank accounts appear under Payment Methods.
Studio access indicator (eye icon)
If your card is shared with your studio, an eye icon appears next to it:
Eye icon without a line: your card is shared with the studio.
Eye icon with a line: your card is not shared with the studio.
To share your card with your studio
Tap the saved card.
Select Allow Studio Access.
Tap Confirm.
This allows the studio to use your card for things like failed autopays or admin-initiated charges.
To remove a saved card
Tap the saved card.
Select Delete Card.
Confirm.
Updating your auto-pay membership payment method
If you have an auto-pay membership and need to change the card:
Go to Profile → My Items.
Select your active membership.
Tap Change Auto-Pay Card.
Follow the prompts to update your payment method.
Using account balance for auto-pays
You can use your account balance to pay for memberships before charging a card.
To enable this:
Go to Profile → Payment Methods.
View your Account Balance.
Toggle Use Account Balance for Autopays.
Your membership payments will draw from your balance first, then charge your card if needed.
Additional notes
If you do not see the ability to add ACH to your account your studio may not have this enabled.
You can add funds to your account balance by redeeming a gift card.
If you do not see the option to manage payment methods, contact your studio.
For billing issues or questions about charges, reach out to your fitness facility first.
