What Information Can Clients See on Their Profile?

Modified on Tue, 10 Feb at 9:07 AM

The fitDEGREE client profile has two main parts:

  1. The Profile screen (shows information for the specific studio you’re logged into)

  2. The Settings screen (opens when you tap the gear icon and controls your overall account and app)

Both are important, and they serve different purposes.

The Profile Screen (Studio-Specific)

This is the first screen clients see when they tap their profile icon in the app.

Everything on this screen is based on the fitSpot (studio) they are currently logged into.

On this screen, clients can see:

Your Studio

  • Which studio they are currently viewing

  • Option to switch studios (if they belong to more than one)

Studio Details

  • Registrations

  • Payment methods

  • Bills

  • Purchase history

  • Emergency contacts

  • Signatures

Your Check-ins

This section shows activity for this studio only:

  • Lifetime check-ins

  • Streak weeks

  • Check-ins this year

  • Last 30 days

Referral Information

  • Their personal referral code

  • A share button to invite friends to this studio

The Settings Screen (Global Account & App)

When a client taps the gear icon in the top right corner of their profile, they open the deeper Settings menu. This area controls the client’s entire fitDEGREE account, not just one studio.

Account Settings

These affect the client across all studios:

  • Edit profile (name, photo, phone, etc.)

  • Notification settings

  • Social settings

  • Shared data

  • Change password

  • Delete account

App Settings

These control how the app behaves on their device:

  • Feedback

  • Terms and policies

  • Appearance (light/dark mode)

  • Switch accounts

  • Log out

Key Difference (The Important Part)

Profile screen = studio-specific
Settings screen = account-wide

In simple terms:

  • The Profile screen shows “How am I doing at this studio?”

  • The Settings screen controls “My fitDEGREE account and app.”

What Clients Cannot See

Clients cannot see:

  • Internal admin notes

  • Backend billing logic

  • Staff-only tags or flags

  • Information about other clients

They only see their own data.

Why This Matters for Studios

This design allows:

  • One client account across multiple studios

  • Different stats and purchases per studio

  • Centralized personal and app settings

  • Less front desk confusion

  • Fewer “Can you check this for me?” questions

Clients get clarity. Studios get fewer support requests.
