How to Create Class Packs

Modified on Wed, 27 May at 7:46 AM

Class Pack is a one-time purchase that gives a Client a set number of Class registrations (or unlimited registrations for a fixed time window). Class Packs work through Perks: every Class Pack requires a Primary Perk — specifically a Class Perk — and can include additional Extra Perks for added value.

Where to find it

  1. From the Admin Website, click the menu icon in the top left corner.

  2. Go to Setup > Payment Options > Class Packs.

  3. Click the plus sign in the top right corner of the screen.

Step 1: Pack details

Fill out the basic information about the Class Pack.

  • Title and description.

  • For sale on: choose where the pack can be purchased (App & Admin, Admin Only, or Not for Sale).

  • Pack expires: set whether the pack expires on a specific date, a set number of days after next use, or does not expire. Expiration can be changed freely at any time.

  • Class pack price.

Step 2: Restrictions and rules

  • Conditional client tags: limit who can purchase this pack based on Client tags.

  • Temperature gating: restrict purchase to Clients of a certain temperature (Cold, Cool, Warm, Hot, or Fire).

  • Progress temperature with purchase: automatically move the Client to a higher temperature once they buy this pack.

  • One purchase per Client: limit each Client to a single purchase of this pack.

Step 3: Perks

Class Packs require a Primary Perk — a Class Perk — and can include optional Extra Perks on top of that.

Primary Perk

Click Add class perk under Primary Perk to create the main use of the pack.

  • Number of uses (or check Unlimited uses).

  • Whether This perk can be shared with related Clients.

  • Value per use.

  • Which Classes or Class Groups the Perk applies to.

Extra Perks (optional)

Click Add extra perk to attach additional Perks to the Class Pack. Extra Perks can be:

  • Another Class Perk (for example, a Primary Perk of 10 yoga Classes plus an Extra Perk of 2 spin Classes).

  • One-on-One Perk (lets the Client book One-on-One Appointments).

  • Guest Class Perk (lets the Client send Guest Passes for Classes).

  • Guest One-on-One Perk (lets the Client send Guest Passes for One-on-One Appointments).

Each Extra Perk has its own settings for number of uses, sharing, Value per use, and which Classes or Services it applies to. You can include more than one Guest Perk on the same pack if you want to offer both Class and One-on-One guest passes.

Step 4: Create

Once your Primary Perk is set and any Extra Perks are configured, click Create in the bottom right corner of the side panel.

Things to know

  • Class Packs can only have a Class Perk as their Primary Perk. One-on-One Packs use a One-on-One Perk as their Primary Perk.

  • Editing what Classes or Services a Perk applies to, or changing conditional tags on the pack, takes effect immediately for everyone currently holding the pack.

  • Adding or removing a Perk from the Class Pack template only applies to future purchases. Clients who already own the pack keep what they originally received.

Class Packs can be marked Not for Sale or edited at any time. From the Class Packs list, click the three dots next to the pack and choose Edit.
