Setting up your integrations is an important step in joining the fitFam! So we want to make sure you have some help in the process of getting things going!
One of our integration partners is Mailchimp and their platform will offer your emailing capabilities and automations. In our video below, Christine will take you step by step through the setup process of Mailchimp as well as help you get started on your marketing journey. If you plan to use the video as your step by step guide, or even our steps below, please have your fitDEGREE account up and your Mailchimp account already established and logged into as well.
What are the major things you need just to get started? Well… first let’s activate your mailchimp integration.
Step-by-Step
- Log into your fitDEGREE account and go to Setup
- Go to Integrations --> then click into Direct Integrations
- Where you see Mailchimp - click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner
- Choose to setup your integration
- fitDEGREE will now ask for your API key which you must locate in Mailchimp
- Log into your Mailchimp account
- Go to the lower left corner and click on your user icon
- Click on Account
- Click on Extras
- From the dropdown list, choose API Keys
- Scroll down and click the button to create an API Key
- Once the key is created, label it and copy the key
- Paste in your API Key
- Click Next
- Select your fitDEGREE contacts list
- Click Next
- Click Done
Once you are done you should see a green text under Mailchimp which says the integration is enabled. If you see any other messages, please email support@fitdegree.com.
