How to Enable Click to Cancel in Your Membership Templates

To enable the Click to Cancel feature for your memberships:

  1. Go to your Admin Website

  2. Click the Menu button

  3. Navigate to Setup > Pricing Options > Memberships

  4. Choose to create a new membership or edit an existing one


In the Details section of the membership template:

  • Check the box labeled “Allow cancellation on app”

  • This will allow any client who purchases this membership to cancel it through their fitDEGREE app


Important: FTC compliance requires all memberships available for online purchase to enable this. If you only sell memberships in person, you do not need to enable this option.


In the Pricing Section, you can:

  • Enable Minimum Payments (continual memberships only)

    • Specify the number of payments a member must make before canceling

    • Example: 3 monthly payments required

  • Enable a Cancellation Notice Period (continual memberships only)

    • Require a set number of payments after submitting a cancellation

    • Example: 1 more payment due after giving notice


These rules are enforced in both the app and admin for future purchases. Make sure these match your client contracts and waivers.
