Yes! You can now use your account balance to pay for an autopay membership in fitDEGREE.
There are two ways to use your account balance for membership payments:
Option 1: Set Account Balance as Your Autopay Payment Method (App Only)
You can set your membership autopay to pull from your account balance first before charging your card or bank account.
How to Enable This in the App:
- Open the fitDEGREE App
- Tap Payment Methods under My Details
- Toggle “Use account balance on membership autopays”
- Your membership autopay will now use your account balance first before drawing from your saved card or bank account.
Note: This setting is available only in the app, not in the admin portal. Clients must set this up themselves.
Option 2: Make a Manual Membership Payment Using Account Balance
If you prefer, you can manually apply your account balance to pay for a membership bill instead of waiting for autopay.
How to Make a Manual Payment:
- Locate your upcoming membership bill in the app.
- Select to Process Payment.
- Choose Account Balance as your payment method.
- Complete the payment – and you're all set!
Important:
- This will not interrupt future autopay schedules.
- Pay before the due date to prevent your saved payment method from being charged.
- Bills only generate 21 days prior to the autopay due date, so you cannot pay prior to this time
Handling Partial Payments with Account Balance
If your account balance does not cover the full membership bill, you’ll need to complete a split payment:
- Apply your account balance to the bill first.
- Pay the remaining amount using a credit card or bank account.
You must pay the entire bill at once—partial payments with the account balance and waiting for autopay to cover the rest are not allowed.
If you have selected your autopay to pull from account balance this process will be completed manually with the account balance and the payment method on file.
Now, clients have more flexibility in how they pay for memberships, making it easier to manage payments directly in the app.
