Can I use an Account Balance to pay for an Autopay Membership?

Modified on Tue, 10 Feb at 9:10 AM

Yes. You can use your account balance to pay for an autopay membership in the fitDEGREE mobile app.

Option 1: Use account balance for autopays

You can set your membership to use your account balance first before charging a card or bank account.

How to enable

  1. Open the fitDEGREE app.

  2. Tap the Profile icon in the bottom right corner.

  3. Select Payment Methods.

  4. Toggle Use account balance for membership autopays.

Your membership autopay will now draw from your account balance first.
If the balance is not enough, the remaining amount will be charged to your saved payment method.

Important:

  • This setting is available only in the mobile app.

  • Studios cannot enable this on your behalf.

Option 2: Make a manual membership payment using account balance

You can also manually apply your account balance to a membership bill.

How to make a manual payment

  1. Go to Profile → Studio Details → Purchase History.

  2. Locate your upcoming membership bill.

  3. Tap the bill and select Pay Bill.

  4. Choose Account Balance as the payment method.

  5. Complete the payment.

This does not change your future autopay schedule.

Important billing rules

  • Membership bills generate 21 days before the due date.

  • You cannot pay a membership bill before it exists.

  • You must pay the full bill in one transaction.

  • Partial payments that rely on future autopays are not allowed.

Using partial account balance

If your account balance does not cover the full bill:

  1. Apply your account balance first.

  2. Pay the remaining amount using a card or bank account.

Both payments must be completed at the same time.

Things to note

  • If autopay is set to use account balance, payments are processed automatically using both the balance and the saved payment method.

  • Paying manually does not cancel or delay future autopay cycles.

  • If you want to avoid a card being charged, pay the bill before the due date using your account balance.
