An Intro Offer is a promotional package designed to bring new Clients into your studio. It gives first-time Clients a short-term way to experience your Classes, One-on-One Services, or both before committing to a longer-term Membership.
Intro Offers are built around Perks — the same building block used by Memberships and packs. An Intro Offer can include any combination of Class Perks, One-on-One Perks, Guest Class Perks, and Guest One-on-One Perks, so you have full control over what new Clients can do during the offer period.
Why use an Intro Offer
Introduce new Clients to your studio with a low-commitment first purchase.
Build a relationship with prospective members and demonstrate the value of your offerings.
Convert trial users into long-term Members.
The structure and price of an Intro Offer typically varies based on your location, target audience, and business model. Some studios run a single Intro Offer year-round; others rotate seasonal promotions.
Who can purchase an Intro Offer
Intro Offers are only available to clients who have never purchased an intro offer, pack, or membership before — Clients who have never registered for a Class or made a purchase at your studio.
Where Intro Offers are displayed
Cold Clients see Intro Offers in the fitDEGREE App store. Current or returning Clients do not see them in the app.
Admins can sell an Intro Offer to any Client manually from:
The Admin Website cart or checkout process.
The OnTheGo App cart.
How Intro Offers grant access
When a Client purchases an Intro Offer, the Perks included on that offer are added to their account. The Client uses those Perks to register for Classes or schedule One-on-One Appointments, the same way they would use Perks from a pack or Membership.
If the Intro Offer includes a Guest Perk, the Client can also send a Guest Pass to a friend during the offer period.
Tracking conversions with the Intro Offer Funnel Report
The Intro Offer Funnel report (under Reports > Business) helps you see how well each Intro Offer is converting Cold Clients into long-term Members. It tracks:
Which Intro Offers sell the most.
Which Intro Offers result in Clients purchasing a Membership or follow-up pack.
What pricing options Clients buy next after their Intro Offer ends.
Things to know
Intro Offers grant access through Perks, not through hidden class packs generated under the hood.
Editing what Classes or Services a Perk on the Intro Offer applies to takes effect immediately for everyone currently holding the offer.
Adding or removing a Perk on an Intro Offer template only affects future purchasers — existing holders keep what they bought.
Intro Offers can be marked Not for Sale or edited at any time from the Intro Offers list.
