How to Create One-on-One Packs

Modified on Wed, 27 May at 7:46 AM

One-on-One Pack gives a Client a set number of One-on-One Appointments (or unlimited appointments within a fixed time window). One-on-One Packs work through Perks: every pack requires a Primary Perk — specifically a One-on-One Perk — and can include additional Extra Perks for added value.

Before creating a One-on-One Pack, make sure your One-on-One Services are already set up so they can be assigned to the Perks.

Where to find it

  1. From the Admin Website, click the menu icon in the top left corner.

  2. Go to Setup > Payment Options > One-on-One Packs.

  3. Click the plus sign in the top right corner of the screen.

Step 1: Pack details

  • Title and description.

  • For sale on: where the pack can be purchased (App & Admin, Admin Only, or Not for Sale).

  • Pack expires: set expiration on a specific date, a set number of days after next use, or no expiration. Expiration can be changed freely later.

  • One-on-one pack price.

Step 2: Restrictions and rules

  • Conditional client tags: limit who can purchase this pack based on Client tags.

  • Temperature gating: restrict purchase to Clients of a certain temperature.

  • Progress temperature with purchase: automatically move the Client to a higher temperature once they buy this pack.

  • One purchase per Client: limit each Client to a single purchase of this pack.

Step 3: Perks

One-on-One Packs require a Primary Perk — a One-on-One Perk — and can include optional Extra Perks.

Primary Perk

Click Add one-on-one perk under Primary Perk.

  • Number of uses (or check Unlimited uses).

  • Whether This perk can be shared with related Clients.

  • Value per use — important for payroll. See the payroll note below.

  • Which One-on-One Services the Perk applies to.

Extra Perks (optional)

Click Add extra perk to attach additional Perks. Extra Perks can be:

  • Another One-on-One Perk covering a different set of Services.

  • Class Perk (for example, bundle a few Class credits with a One-on-One Pack).

  • Guest Class Perk or Guest One-on-One Perk (let the Client send Guest Passes to friends).

Step 4: Create

Once your Primary Perk is set and any Extra Perks are configured, click Create in the bottom right corner of the side panel.

Important note for studios using payroll on One-on-One Packs

If you pay instructors based on a percentage of One-on-One Pack revenue (revenue-based pay), you need to set the Value per use manually on each One-on-One Perk.

Previously, when a One-on-One Pack had a single fixed quantity of uses, the system could divide the pack price by the number of uses to calculate Value per use automatically. Because One-on-One Packs can now include multiple Perks (a Primary Perk and any number of Extra Perks), that automatic calculation no longer works — the system can't know how to split the pack's total price across multiple Perks.

If you use revenue-based payroll, open each of your existing One-on-One Packs and set Value per use on the Primary Perk so that payroll calculations stay accurate. Memberships and Intro Offers that include One-on-One Perks already require a Value per use during setup, so no migration is needed there. Class payroll is not affected because fitDEGREE does not offer revenue-based pay for Classes.

Things to know

  • One-on-One Packs can only have a One-on-One Perk as their Primary Perk.

  • Editing what Services a Perk applies to, or changing conditional tags on the pack, takes effect immediately for everyone currently holding the pack.

  • Adding or removing a Perk from the One-on-One Pack template only applies to future purchases.

  • One-on-One Packs can be marked Not for Sale or edited at any time from the One-on-One Packs list.
