How to Add a Class Group

What is a Class Group?

A class group is one, or many, classes placed into a given category which will be later assigned a value in terms of instructor payout and payment options; this is done as a way to categorize your classes in order to assist in the creation of payscales, pay rules and payment options for your clients.  

Step-by-Step 
  1. From your dashboard click the menu icon in the top left corner next to the fitDEGREE logo
  2. Select “Setup” tab and you will be brought into the page for your “Class Manager”
  3. Once in the Class Manager page, press the plus sign in the top row
  4. Name your class group
  5. Assign a cancellation policy to your class group
  6. Click Create

Things to Note:
  • Your class groups help the proper administration of team member pay. Remember, your payscales use class groups as the basis for assigning rules for compensation. So make sure you categorize accordingly!
  • Your class groups help proper creation and maintenance of payment options in your admin. So make sure you take this into account while creating them!
