Sharing between Clients happens automatically once two things are in place: a shareable Perk on a Pack, Intro Offer, or Membership, and a Relationship between the two Clients on the Admin Website.
Clients themselves cannot set up sharing from inside the fitDEGREE App or OnTheGo App. Relationships are managed by Admins only on the Admin Website.
How sharing works
When a Client buys a pack, intro offer, or membership that includes a shareable Perk, and they already have a Relationship set up with another Client, the shareable Perks become available to the related Client right away. The related Client will see the Perks listed under the Shared with Me section of their profile and on their My Items screen in the app.
Only Perks that have been explicitly marked as shareable on the pricing option are shared. Other Perks on the same item stay with the purchaser.
What needs to be true for sharing to work
The pricing option must have at least one Perk with This perk can be shared checked. This is set inside the Perk itself, not on the Pack or Membership as a whole.
A Relationship must exist between the two Clients on their profiles in the Admin Website.
Sharing direction matters — Relationships can be one-way or mutual, so confirm which fits the Clients' situation.
Things to know
Clients cannot enable sharing from the fitDEGREE App or the OnTheGo App. Relationship setup is Admin Website only.
The original purchaser still owns the item — the Relationship just lets the related Client use the shareable Perks.
Sharing only applies to Perks. Account Balance, Gift Cards, and similar credits cannot be shared between Client accounts.
