Zapier Integration

What is Zapier?

Zapier is a tool that helps you automate repetitive tasks between two or more apps—no code necessary. When an event happens in one app, Zapier can tell another app to perform (or do) a particular action.

Our Zapier integration will allow you to connect other email marketing platforms to fitDEGREE, like ActiveCampaign, FloDesk, Constant Contact and Skipio to name a few.

What can this integration do?

The Zapier integration is run through triggers called Events. With the fitDEGREE integration the only Event type you can select at this time is "Created/Updated User." What this means is that whenever a user is created or updated in your fitDEGREE account it will trigger a zap to the other partner you are connect through Zapier with in order to add or update information on their platform.

What do I need for setup?

First and foremost you will need a Zapier account. Once that is created, you can go ahead and start the process of creating a Zap. For the Zap you will first select fitDEGREE, then "created/updated user" and then you will need to add in your API Key to link fitDEGREE to Zapier.

To generate an API Key go into your admin website and then go to the Setup area. From here, go to the Integrations section. In this section, select API Keys from the side bar menu. After this, select to Create a New API Key. When you do so it will ask for a label, go ahead and call it Zapier. Once you finish that, copy the API Key and go back to Zapier and paste it into their popup asking "Allow Zapier to access your fitDEGREE Account?" Once connected you should be able to continue creating your Zap to link it to one of their other partners to receive this triggered information from fitDEGREE!
