How to create a Membership Tax

When creating taxes for your memberships, keep in mind that you can have a custom tax, or set all classes to a default percentage. If you create a default, this will become applicable to all memberships that you have created.

  1. From your live schedule, click on the menu button in the top left hand corner.
  2. Click on the “Setup” icon
  3. Once in the “Setup” page you will land on Class manager, click the drop down for Pricing Options to find “Memberships” and click this option
  4. From this point you have two options to edit your tax information
    1. Create a Default Tax
      1. Click the “Default Membership Tax (% Sign)” button in the top left hand corner
      2. Edit the percentage
      3. Click the “Update” button
    2. Create a Custom Tax
      1. Click the membership which you would like to edit
      2. Enter the pricing tab within the membership setup
      3. Uncheck Default Membership Tax
      4. Edit the percentage

Things to Note:
  • If you have a registration fee this will not be lumped into the default tax options, you must create a custom tax next to this item.
