Payment Type Filter on Registration Report

Modified on Wed, 27 May at 7:28 AM

The Registrations report includes a filter dedicated to Payment Type. This filter lets you slice your registration data by how the Client paid — useful for understanding which payment options drive the most registrations, tracking how often Intro Offers convert into Class attendance, and analyzing where Guest Passes show up in your data.

Where to find it

  1. From the Admin Website, click the menu icon in the top left corner.

  2. Open Reports.

  3. In the left side menu, click Registrations, then click Registrations again to open the detailed report.

On the left-hand side of the report you'll see the filter panel. Available filters include:

  • Dates

  • Check-in status

  • Cancellation status

  • Instructor

  • Registrable type

  • Requires payment

  • Payment type

  • Client (defaulting to Client: not set)

How to use the Payment Type filter

  1. Click the Payment Type dropdown.

  2. Choose the form of payment you want to filter by — Class Pack, One-on-One Pack, Membership, Intro Offer, Guest Pass, drop-in, Series full package, Classpass, Wellhub.

  3. Once a payment type is selected, you can drill in further to pick a specific item of that type — for example, after selecting Intro Offer you can pick a specific Intro Offer like "10 Days Unlimited."

Practical examples

  • Track Intro Offer conversion: filter by Intro Offer and the specific offer you're tracking to see which Classes Clients attended on it. Pair with the Intro Offer Funnel report to see how many converted into a Membership.

  • Audit Guest Pass usage: filter by Guest Pass to see which Classes received Guest Pass registrations over a date range — useful for understanding where Bring a Friend is driving new visits.

  • Monitor drop-in revenue per Class: filter by drop-in to find Classes most often paid in cash or credit card, which can inform pricing or pack strategy.

Things to know

  • Once an item is marked Not for Sale, it no longer appears as an option in the Payment Type dropdown — though historical registrations paid with it remain in the report's results.

  • The Client filter on this report works the same way as on other reports: defaulting to Client: not set, click the pill to search and select a specific Client.

  • Combine Payment Type with the date range filter to narrow your view to a specific promotion period or quarter.
